        Exciting news to BD Fans! After several months of hard work the new BRIT DESIGNS website is launching next week. We couldn't be more excited for you all to see what we have been up to! Get ready!

"Tangeriney"

This week is off and I'm am running my toosh off to keep up with it! The website is getting much closer to launching, special thanks to my webteam for working very hard :) I am getting ready to start designing and producing for my Southern Wedding's Magazine shoot in May and cannot wait for that as well! So many fun things happening and keeping me on my toes! Makes me think I could be a ballerina...Think being key in that statement. I lack a little something called coordination on a dance floor.

With this design..I had WAY to much fun. The buyer wanted something filled with earth tones and a pop of color..but mainly something that could be worn with some of her favorite aquamarine jewelry...give me a few days on a creative high buried in jewels and wha-la! Whilet trying to come up with a name for this beauty all I could think of was the color Tangerine...but thats too blah for me so "Tangeriney" it is! It is such a bright yet rich orange color what is not to love?...and it is a very intricate part of this design. 

My favorite part of this piece is all the blue's... Crystal mixed with Quartz..its so rugged, If I wore it with a bathing suit i would definitely feel like a modern day mermaid....and if I were a mermaid..you better believe this would be part of my get up :)

"Alive"

"Take me home where my dreams are made of gold".... OR are your dreams made of Wrist Rocks? 

This piece was inspired by Krewella's "Alive," Which has been on in my studio ALL week! Like the song its Fun with lots of crescendo's of rhinestones and Crystal work! It features an amethyst drusy agate center stone, Lace and lots LOTS LOTS of gold and yellow crystal studs!

"Back it up!"

Well folks! I am getting ready to take a week and half off of work-ish I am headed to Key Largo for a week of R and R with my husband- baby free! I have a sexy beach shoot planned...featuring both Wrist Rocks and 25 shades. I must take advantage of getting some sexy shots in the sand! I will return to the studio refreshed and ready to go March 11. Next up is the website launch. With that being said, before I high tail it out of town with man, windows down and ACDC blaring I must go out in style.

It's time for the debut of the first Wrist Rock ever with the new amazing Wrist Rock backing! After 7 weeks of hard work, sampling and tons of phone calls all over the country I am now able to take Wrist Rock's to a new level. I have been so so anxious to share this with you all for so long! The new Wrist Rock backing makes these one of a kind pieces even more luxurious! 

This backing brands these one of a kind pieces to the Brit Designs label making each piece an authentic, official design by yours truly.

"RAW"

This design was created for Raw Denim's Raw Love Fashion Show this weekend at Opera Night Club in ATL. This Wrist Rock is "RAW" it is so powerful. With it's gladiator body style and infusion of fierceness you can rest assure nothing would stand in your path if you had this on. This is by far my most vicious design yet. This tremendous work of art is flashy and the first of its kind. 

Originally worn into battle for protection the gladiator style cuff continues to be reinvented with the ever changing tides of fashion....

BD Bridal Advertisement for Southern Weddings Magazine!

Right now things are moving forward at a VERY rapid pace for Brit Designs. I like to keep you all as updated as possible on the latest news with the business. The website is coming along and looking fantastic, right now we are anticipating a end of March launch. 

The most recent bit of news is now official. BD Bridal is going to be taking out a full page ad in Southern Weddings Magazine. It's a small magazine which only releases 1-2 issues per year but one that has an extremely loyal fan base. The issue is sold in Walmart, Target and Barnes and Noble to name a few which is so very exciting! I am truly looking forward to working with the SWM team. Here is the cover from their latest volume!

A photo shoot date has been set in early May for the ad which will be released sometime in the Fall/early spring! I've begun sketching design hair piece options and I can't can't wait! Here is the first potential design for the photo shoot!

Each BD hair piece is hand crafted and one of a kind. The design is specifically created for each bride's big day. The process begins with an interview and sending the designer photo's of your dress, hair style, and veil to name a few. Then the design process begins. You as the bride are a very interactive part of it all start to finish. Once you have signed off on your design sketch the piece goes into production! BD bridal designs are so unique and make great family heirlooms. "Crystal Comet"

Hot pink, lime green, red, teal, sapphire, and gold! This piece is bursting with color and loaded with nothing but crystal goodness. If a Wrist Rock could look like a "crystal comet" blazing through the sky this is what it would look like! 

Bold, colorful and as always in your face one of a kind. This is top to bottom crystalized with Swarovski elements and features another Druzy agate center stone which is one of my new found loves. 

Dear Stones and crystal I'd like to bathe in you one day..can you imagine!? How amazing would that feel to be surrounded by nothing but sparkle. There is something about crystal that is so rugged yet so feminine which is why I am truly enamored with it.

"The Reason"

I love getting a picture like this. It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside! This sums it all up, "the reason" I love my work so much. Look how happy she looks :) A mother took this photo of her daughter as she opened her one of a kind Wrist Rock from BD last week. It's truly a passion and goal in my life that I create one of a kind items and share them with even more one of a kind people.

This week I am beginning to design the BD Bridal pieces that will be featured in my May photoshoot for Southern Weddings Magazine as well as one of my Atlanta boutiques Raw Denim's fashion show!

"FIERCE JEWEL!"

I got a sneak peak of the new BD homepage layout yesterday afternoon and all I can say is WOW! This new website is certainly going to knock the socks off of the current one.

BD is off and running gearing up for another busy week of sending off details to the web team and sampling exciting new thangs!

I spent an all time record on the phone last week making calls nationwide...I also got a message from the phone company for the spike in minutes used-
Thanks to my perseverance... and one old timer in CA willing to help..
BD Wrist Rock's are on their way to becoming that much more awesome. But you will just have to wait and see...

This latest piece from the BD studio is a mixture of kelly green, hot pink and teal! It features a marquise Druzy Agate center stone, shards of some gorgeously metallic Quartz, brass, chain and crystal piled high high high! 

This is such a feel good statement piece and for a very special someone! It's such a "FIERCE JEWEL!,"it also includes a waterfall of chain that dangles on the underside of the wrist for an added statement. It's full of in your face bold bright color.

"Web and Graphic Design Team Take Over The BD Website!"

I told you guys 2013 was going to be a big year for BD so here is the first bit of BIG news! I have begun working with a web and graphic design team for the BD website! BD will finally be entering the world of professional jewelry designer websites....

I know the current website just got a huge makeover and I thank all of you for following its launch! Up until now my mother in law and I have been the force behind the BD website. But neither of our professions deals with webwork so we have done the best we could and made it quiet far considering.

This new website (launch date pending) is going to be something I have dreamed about since the start of BD in 2011. I truly cannot wait to see what the turn out is.

With this being said, the current website will be up and running until the new one goes live so do not fret, you can still place your order's at BRIT DESIGNS.

So far this week has been crazy! It's Wednesday right? Not much production because I am working on several things which you will see hopefully soon enough. I've had Bank visits, phone calls, photo editing, you name it and it's only Wednesday?! Who knew so much went into the behind the scenes of webwork. I have to say the team I am working with are some of the sweetest people. They work with me not only around my schedule but my sons as well. Who says you can't do it all? Playing with my son, working on a design and replying to emails? bring it on! It's pretty awesome to work with people like this!

"Pretty Pastel"

"Pretty Pastel".............It pretty much sums up the latest piece featuring a color palette of Tiffany, Magnolia, Black, Dove, Jade, and Rain. The color options are endless for these bad boys! What's on your color palette for a custom Wrist Rock?

These pieces are so unforgettable and oh so unique. The longer you look at them the more you discover different things that you didn't see before! "Rockin' and Rollin' Stone!"

Wow! What a weekend! The BD Wrist Rock shoot produced some smoldering hot images....

This was the first "look" of the day. Sequin shorts, a studded muscle T, platform pumps and arms stacked high with Wrist Rocks! It truly looked like something off a cover of Rolling Stones and I couldn't be more excited about the shots we got!

Stay tuned because something very new and exciting is about to be added to my designs! This week will be full of phone calls and decision making in preparation for what is to come with some of my newest work.

"No Good Girl Piece"

Vamping up more production this week so that I can have the arms of my model jeweled up with as MANY Wrist Rocks as possible!!! This I have learned,  When it comes to a jewelry shoot More is ALWAYS better. 

This piece reminds me of an angel wing because of its aquamarine colored crystal as its center stone. At first glance it seems very girly but then you see the snake like chain wrapping it's way around your wrist and it dawns on you that this is "No Good Girl Piece". So rocker, dark and twisted yet feminine and bright bright bright. Piping hot blinding color...just the way I like it! Rev up those engines folks...spring is on its way!! 

Be sure to check out Marissa Miller's killer blacked out harley davidson ad from 2008 below...If I could have planned a shoot for this particular piece only..this is what comes to mind. As you all know two of my favorite materials are crystal and leather..
